The hard part is deciding to put your bike on the wall. Choosing which mount is the easy part, once you know what to look at.
Every mount in the range shares the same DNA, 3 mm black steel, designed and made in the EU, a screwless designer finish, anti-slip padding at every contact point, the HMB Easy Mounting System, and a 12-month warranty. So you're never choosing between a good one and a lesser one. You're matching a mount to a particular bike and a particular rider. Here's the straight version.
// Two questions answer most of it
First: what kind of bike, and how heavy is it? Road, gravel, cyclocross and TT/triathlon bikes, anything up to 16 kg, belong on the Minimal, Pro or Ultimate. A mountain bike, downhill rig or e-bike, which is both heavier and bigger, wants the Ultimate XL. A child's bike wants the Kids.
Second: does your frame hang level on its own, or do you want it to, guaranteed? Modern frames slope, and a sloping top tube won't sit level on a fixed mount (something we've written about in detail). If that matters to you, you want the HMB Tilt Mechanism, which means the Ultimate or the Ultimate XL.
Answer those two and you're most of the way there. The table fills in the rest.

// The road, gravel and everyday range
HMB Minimal — the essentials, beautifully
The Minimal is the purist's choice: a clean, one-piece mount that holds the bike, steadies the front wheel with the included strap, and gives you a storage surface with neatly integrated cut-outs for medals, CO2 cartridges, a lock and a couple of hooks. Nothing shouts for attention. If you want the bike on the wall looking like it belongs there, and you don't need the mount to store half your kit, the Minimal is all the mount you need.

HMB Pro — room for your kit
The Pro does everything the Minimal does and adds a wall plate built to hold your gear: shoes, and up to six pairs of cycling glasses, plus the odds and ends that otherwise colonise the hallway. It's the choice for the rider whose front door is also a kit staging area, everything for the ride living in one tidy place, under the bike rather than scattered around it.

HMB Ultimate — when you want it perfectly level
The Ultimate takes the Pro's storage and adds the piece that makes the real difference: the HMB Tilt Mechanism. The cradle pivots and locks anywhere up to a 15° top-tube angle, so a modern sloping frame hangs dead horizontal rather than nose-up or tail-down. It's also the model you can personalise through HMB Custom, with your own name or a short message laser-cut into the front plate. If your frame slopes, and most now do, or you simply want the bike hanging exactly right, this is the one.

The heavy hitter: HMB Ultimate XL
Everything changes once there's a battery or big suspension travel involved. E-bikes and mountain bikes are heavier and bulkier than a road bike, and most wall mounts quietly run out of capacity well before an e-bike's weight (which is why storing one properly takes a mount built for it). The Ultimate XL is that mount: reinforced at the load-bearing points, rated to 27.5 kg, and the only wall mount on the market designed specifically for e-bikes rather than adapted to them. It carries the HMB Tilt Mechanism too, tuned to level the steeper with up to 20°, more radical frames that mountain bikes and step-through e-bikes throw at it. If your bike has a battery or serious travel, this is the one, no further thought required.

For the little ones: HMB Kids
Children's bikes are their own problem. They're small, oddly shaped, and plenty of them, balance bikes especially, have no top tube to hang from at all. The Kids is designed around exactly that, holding bikes up to 11 kg securely whether or not there's a top tube, in colours that suit a child's bike rather than a road racer's. It's also the easiest way to start the on-the-wall habit early, and to keep small bikes off the floor and out from under your feet.

// Not mounting to a wall at all?
If you rent and can't drill, or you want something to take to races and travel with, the HMB Bike Stand is the freestanding alternative. It suits all bike types with rim or disc brakes, fits 26 to 29-inch wheels including e-bikes, and needs no wall. It isn't a wall mount, but it's worth knowing the option exists before you rule out HMB on the grounds that you can't put holes in the wall.

// What every mount shares
Whichever you choose, the foundation is identical: 3 mm black steel, a screwless finish that reads more like designer furniture than a bike rack, anti-slip padding wherever the mount touches the bike, the included wheel strap, and the HMB Easy Mounting System with hardware and a drilling template for brick, concrete and timber-stud walls. Everything comes in Jet Black or Signal White (the Kids in brighter colours), backed by a 12-month warranty and made in a CO2-neutral process in the EU. You're choosing bike type, weight and features, never quality.
// Still not sure?
The short version:
- Road or gravel, and you want it clean and simple — Minimal.
- Road or gravel, and you want to store your kit with it — Pro.
- Road or gravel with a sloping frame, or you just want it perfectly level — Ultimate.
- An e-bike or a mountain bike — Ultimate XL, without hesitation.
- A child's bike — Kids.
- Can't drill, or want it portable — the Bike Stand.
And if you're still weighing it up, send us a side-on photo of your bike and we'll happily confirm the right fit before you order. It's your bike, your wall and your money, better to get it right the first time. That, in the end, is what the whole range is built for: the right mount for your bike, made properly, holding it exactly the way it should.
Greetings from Vienna.
